Philip Slotnick

My name is Philip Judd Slotnick and I have been with Burnetti, P.A. for 10 years. Before joining Burnetti, P.A. I spent several years as both a public defender and as a prosecutor in the state attorney's office in the 10th judicial circuit. After graduating from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the University of Florida College of Law School, I had the pleasure of working in New York City's Empire State Building for the law firm of F. Lee Bailey and Aaron J. Broder.

I feel fortunate to work at Burnetti, P.A. A law firm that I will never leave. I have the good fortune in representing people from all walks of life who have been harmed through no fault of their own. Over the years I have represented many people from professional athletes, medical doctors, factory workers, insurance adjusters and mechanics. What is unfortunate is that anyone can be hurt, bad drivers and unsafe stores make no discrimination as to a person's occupation, wealth or background.

I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people everyday. I enjoy my job because I care about the people that have chosen my representation. In the last couple of years I have gone to trial for folks that were Postmen, a beautician, an officer manager, a nurse and a travel agent, just to name a few.

While I am comfortable with my own abilities, it is the family atmosphere at Burnetti, P.A. that I enjoy. Everyday when I go to work, I see the same folks. Folks that work at Burnetti, P.A. do not want to work anywhere else. Though we are a large and strong firm, we manage to keep a comfortable small firm atmosphere. When you walk into our office, the receptionists are articulate, bilingual and friendly. The secretaries and paralegals are well trained, well educated, and truly understand what you are going through and what is required.

The attorneys are experienced, concerned and there for you at all times. I often provide my cell phone number to people I represent, and they are comfortable calling me at different times of the day and even into the evening if an emergency arises and they feel the need for immediate contact.

In reality, most cases do not go to trial. Most people that I know - friends, family, folks I have represented - do not want to have to go to trial. They're scared. The key is to work your case as strong and as hard as possible so that if a case is going to go to trial, you and your claim will be taken seriously. If we cannot reach an agreement with the insurance company and we must have a jury decide the matter, we will always out prepare the other side.

Remember a lot of people say they are aggressive and say they are experienced and say they have had tremendous success, but it does not necessarily mean it is true. At Burnetti, P.A. we are very proud of our work and the results. Not only of what we do and how we do it but who we do it for. I enjoy the fact that former clients of mine will pop into my office just to say hello or tell me how they are doing or to update me on their families.

If you are hurt and it is not your fault, there is no reason to be ashamed or embarrassed. Insurance companies make billions upon billions of dollars a year. It is one of, if not the most, lucrative industries in the world. Don't feel guilty because they might be responsible to you. They want you to not make a claim, that's how they get richer. So if you are hurt, if you are suffering, if you are damaged and it wasn't your fault, feel free to call my firm. I will be more than happy to meet with you and your family and to figure out if there is a claim. If there is, what we need to do to present it strongly, fairly and honestly.

If I can help please email or call 1-800-Burnetti. Working justice for you.
