Our client was in a 2004 Chevy Tahoe at an intersection in Orlando, FL when the car ahead slowed down. When our client slowed down, the Defendant failed to stop and rear ended our client. Our client’s vehicle sustained approximately $500.00 in property damage. Our client had a well-documented, pre-existing back injury, and a lumbar MRI performed in 2009 showed herniations at L4-5 and L5-S1 with indentation of the anterior thecal sac and facet arthropathy producing neural foramenal stenosis bilaterally. Our client underwent a series of three epidural steroid injections with some relief. After failing to obtain relief with conservative measures, our client underwent three surgeries due to his injuries. He received a settlement for $105,000.
