Lan Enterprises, LLC has issued a recall on the Zooper stroller brand due to a strangulation hazard. Approximately 2,300 strollers are affected by the recall.
The stroller recall applies only to the armrest bar and the snack tray for the following models:
|Brand||Model Name||Model Number||Date Code||Model Year (s)|
|Zooper Everyday||Tango||SL808G||022009-060510||2010, 2011|
|Zooper Everyday||Waltz||SL800J||022009-060510||2010, 2011|
The date code of the recalled strollers is located on a label attached to the seat.
Recalled strollers were sold nationwide at mass merchandisers and online retailers, including Amazon.com, Costco.com and Dmartstores.com, from May 2009 to May 2011 for $200-$800. The models were manufactured between February 2009 and June 2010.
Children may become trapped between the armrest bar/snack tray and the bottom of the seat, posing a strangulation hazard. The pictures below show the affected parts.
Consumers who own a recalled Zooper stroller should immediately remove the armrest bar and snack tray. For a free replacement part and repair kit, stroller owners may visit Zooper’s website or call 1-888-966-7379 between 12pm and 8pm EST Monday through Friday.
