Battat Inc. is recalling more than one million toy keys with remote because the metal toy keys and the plastic key ring can break, posing a choking hazard.
The recall includes all B. FunKeys™ with factory code H58000-01 or H26300-01, plus Parents® Magzine Electronic Keys with factory code H26300-01. The factory code can be found on the back of the remote. B. FunKeys were sold at nationwide retailers, plus online sellers from April 2010 to May 2011; Parents Magazine keys were sold from January 2006 to December 2009. The recalled toys sold for about $9.
Parents should take the keys away from children and contact Battat to receive replacement keys. For more information, consumers may call Battat at (866) 665-5524 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.battatco.com.
If your child has been severely injured by a recalled product, a defective product lawyer may be able to help you pursue a personal injury claim for compensation. For more information, call 1-888-BURNETTI.
