Harley-Davidson has announced a voluntary recall of 250,757 vehicles due to a potential rear brake light switch that could potentially cause overheating that may lead to a crash.
According to the recall notice, the excessive heat can result in poor brake performance, which could lead to a crash. The recall affects the following CVO Touring and Trike vehicles:
- Model year 2009-2012 Harley-Davidson CVO Touring vehicles manufactured from June 2008 to September 2011
- Model year 2009-2012 Harley-Davidson Trike vehicles manufactured from June 2008 to September 2011
