Chrysler has announced a voluntary recall of 119,072 vehicles due to the ABS/ESC system function that may be lost due to an overheated power distribution center and may lead to a crash.
According to the recall notice, this could lead to a loss of vehicle control, potentially leading to a crash. The recalls affects the following vehicles that are equipped with the ABS/ESC system fuse:
- Model year 2011 Chrysler 300 manufactured 2011 to 2012
- Model year 2011 Dodge Charger manufactured 2011 to 2012
Under the recall notice, Chrysler will notify owners and dealers will relocate the ABS/ESC system fuse and it will be performed free of charge. For additional information, owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
