Kraft voluntarily recalled varieties of Kraft, Polly-O String Cheese, and String Cheese Twist snack foods for premature spoilage risks. The cheese products may spoil before the “Best When Used By” dates causing discoloration and illness. Krafts received reports of spoilage from customers and have discontinued production and distribution of the recalled items.
The products recalled have the code date from October 25, 2013 through February 11, 2014. Customers can locate the “Best When Used By” date on the bottom front of the package or on the back of multi-count packages.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled item(s) are advised to not eat the products and to return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
