Playtex has recalled over 1.25 million pacifier holder clips after reports of the holder cracking and small parts breaking off which poses a choking hazard to children. The clips are designed to attach to diaper bags, strollers, are clothing to keep the pacifier handy for infants and toddlers.
The pacifier clips were sold at Walmart, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, and baby stores nationwide from July 2010 to October 2013. “Playtex” copyright logo is displayed on the clip and the holders were sold in green with a monkey shape, blue with a tow truck shape, and pink with a flower shape.
Consumers are advised to immediately remove the pacifier holders from the vicinity of infants and contact Playtex for information on how to get a full refund.
