Kraft has issued a recall on 1.2 million cases of cottage cheese because some of the ingredients used in making the cottage cheese were not stored at an appropriate temperature due to temperature standards. Improper storage temperatures could result in spoilage and increased risk of food borne illnesses. The recall includes brand products such as Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese, Simply Kraft Cottage Cheese, Knudsen Cottage Cheese, and Daily Chef Cottage Cheese.
The recalled food cases have the date codes that range from May 9th through July 23rd. Click here for a full list of the recalled items. Kraft has halted production of the cottage cheese and is working on a solution to the storage issues.
