In 2009, our client was a restrained driver and was west bound on a road. The tortfeasor was east bound on the road and for some unknown reason, the tortfeasor crossed over the center lane line and entered the west bound lane. The tortfeasor struck our client in the left front. Our client was transported by EMS to a local hospital where he was listed as critical. He was also treated at additional medical facilities. His injuries were to his pelvis, abdomen, thorax, neck, face, spine, chest and leg. He had an open wound of his scalp with subdural hemorrhage, hypersomnia with apnea and a head injury with loss of consciousness. Our client received $120,000 in damages.
