In 2013, our client was riding his Harley motorcycle. He was traveling northbound on Hwy 27 in Sebring, when the at fault party made an illegal u-turn in front of him. Our client could not avoid an impact and hit the at fault parties vehicle. Our client was ejected off his bike onto the road. He was transported to a local hospital in Sebring, in which it was determined he had a fractured left tibia plateau and a fractured left ankle. He was stabilized and the transported to a different hospital, where he underwent surgery to repair the fractured tibia plateau. The surgery required the installation of pins, plates and screws to repair the fracture. After he was discharged he contacted us. We quickly gathered the necessary records and presented them to the at fault parties insurance company. Three weeks after we were contacted by our client, we were able to recover from the at fault parties insurance company, a check for their policy limits of $100,000.00.
