Nissan has announced a voluntary recall of 79,275 vehicles due to the fuel pressure sensor that may loosen causing the fuel to leak increasing the risk of a fire.
According to the recall notice, fuel may leak from the pressure sensor, potentially leading to fire. The recalls affects the following vehicles that are equipped with fuel pressure sensor:
- Model year 2011 Infiniti M manufactured 2011 through 2012
- Model year 2011 Infiniti QX manufactured 2011 through 2012
- Model year 2011 Nissan Juke manufactured 2011 through 2012
Under the recall notice, Nissan will notify owners and dealers will replace the fuel pressure sensors and it will be performed free of charge. For additional information, owners may contact Nissan customer service at 615-725-1000.
