A traffic crash occurred on a four lane divided highway in Polk County, Florida. It was alleged that the tractor-trailer merged into the client’s lane striking the driver’s side of her vehicle. The tractor-trailer driver denied these allegations and advised that our client merged into his lane striking the passenger’s side wheels. (Disputed Liability) The client did not treat at-scene, but a few days later presented herself to an emergency room complaining of neck pain. After weeks of chiropractic care she had a MRI completed, which showed positive for a herniation and impingement. The client was referred to a local neurosurgeon who conducted an anterior cervical discectomy. After the surgery, her symptoms subsided and she was able to move forward with daily life activities.
