Club Car LLC recently announced a recall of three models of 2011 Precedent golf cars. The recall was initiated after the company received three reports of incidents involving fuel tank seams splitting. No injuries or fires have been reported.
The recalled Club Car golf cars include three different models of 2011 Precedent golf cars. The model and serial numbers are located above the passenger’s side floorboard. “Club Car” is printed on the front of the golf cars.

Approximately 600 of the three golf car models were sold at authorized Club Car dealers nationwide from April 2011 through May 2011 for between $8,000 and $9,200.
According to the recall notice, consumers should stop using the recalled golf cars and contact Club Car for a free inspection and replacement of the fuel tank. The firm is directly contacting consumers who purchased the golf cars.
