Fred & Friends has recalled over 200,000 Chill Baby Artiste pacifiers, Volume pacifiers, and Panic pacifiers because infants and toddlers can choke on them. The beard on the Artiste pacifier and the Volume knob on the Volume pacifier can detach creating choking risks. The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards and the ventilation holes on the pacifier guards are too small.
The Artiste pacifier has a beard and mustache design, the Volume pacifier has a black decorative knob, and the Panic pacifier has a red button on the front. The pacifiers were sold in a variety of stores, including gift stores, toy stores, grocery stores, museum gift shops, hospital shops, and department stores from April through December 2013. The UPC numbers are located on the package.
- The Artiste Pacifier’s UPC is 728987021282
- The Volume Pacifier’s UPC is 728987020599
- The Panic Pacifier’s UPC is 728987020605
Customers should remove the recalled pacifiers from young children and return them to Fred & Friends for a full refund.
