Nissan North America has announced a voluntary recall of 28,294 vehicles due to the turbocharger boost sensor bracket may separate and cause the vehicle to stall and may be at risk for a crash.
According to the recall notice, the boost sensor may come off and the vehicle could stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. The recalls affects the following vehicles that are equipped with the air inlet tube:
- Model year 2011 Nissan Juke manufactured April 2010 to May 2011
Under the recall notice, Nissan will notify owners and dealers and will check the lot number on the air inlet tube and replace if necessary, free of charge. For addition information, owners may contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.
