STIHL, in cooperation with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, has issued a recall for approximately 2.3 million gas powered products, including blower backpacks, hedge trimmers, pole pruners, edgers, trimmers, clearing saws, and KombiMotors.
Ethanol and other fuel additives used in the recalled products can distort the toolless fuel cap, allowing fuel to spill and increasing the risk of a fire or burn hazard.
