Britax strollers are recalled after reports of fingertip amputations, broken fingers, and severe lacerations. The injuries occurred when pressing the release button on the stroller and pulling the strap. The recall includes approximately 225,000 Britax B-Agile, B-Agile Double, and BOB Motion strollers sold nationwide from May 2011 through June 2013.
The strollers in the recall were sold in black, red, kiwi, navy, sandstone, and orange color schemes. The model numbers and date are located on a label on the inside of the stroller’s frame by the rear wheel. The model numbers are:
1. B-Agile Strollers
2. B-Agile Double Strollers
3. BOB Motion Strollers
Owners of the recalled strollers should stop use and should contact Britax to receive a free repair kit for the strollers.
