Southeast Toyota has announced a voluntary recall of 518 vehicles due to the front a-pillar trim panel retention clip that may have been damaged during installation and may come loose and injure an occupant during a crash.
According to the recall notice, the trim panel may become loose from a damaged a-pillar trim panel retention clip, potentially coming loose in a crash and injuring an occupant. The recalls affects the following vehicles that are equipped a-pillar trim panel retention clip:
- Model year 2010 Toyota Corolla manufactured from 2010 to 2011
- Model year 2011 Toyota Sienna manufactured from 2010 to 2011
Under the recall notice, Toyota will notify owners and dealers will inspect the a-pillar trim panel retention clip and replace free of charge. For addition information, owners may contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783.
