I’m Doug Burnetti and I’m a trial lawyer. We have offices in Lakeland, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, as well as offices in Sebring. Burnetti, P.A. was opened June fourth, nineteen ninety four.

Our goal starts with client service. We see horrible situations. I’ve represented many people who’ve been through wrongful death situations where the breadwinner in the household is now gone. We see a lot of people who lost their job or are losing their job or can’t work.

For me, the most satisfying part of being a personal injury attorney is helping people get through these tough times. Burnetti, P.A. has multiple offices in Florida. We’ve got about seventy-five staff all doing the same thing—helping people who’ve been injured or who have had family members who’ve been killed as a result of negligence.

There’s a lot more to representing a client who suffered such a loss than just saying, “Hey, I’ll be your lawyer.” We try to think about the whole person and understand that there’s a lot of emotion involved.

Our goal is to relieve the tension as much as we can and help them through this very difficult time because these difficult times can sometimes last months or even years. Most clients, when they come in, have suffered an injury or a death in the family—very emotional things that they’re dealing with.

I have a lot of life experience with them. I’ve lost loved ones myself due to the negligence of someone else. My dad was killed in an auto accident. I’ve been through these things personally.
