Pasco County Crash Kills Three Elderly People

Three elderly people lost their lives in a fatal Pasco County crash involving two vehicles. According to the details shared by the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place on the night of Saturday, December 12. It was reported to the authorities at around 10 p.m.

The precise location of the accident was at the intersection of the County Line Road and Grand Club Drive. One of the vehicles involved in the incident was trying to take a U-turn at the intersection. This was when the vehicle came into the path of the second vehicle. The second vehicle collided with the first vehicle at a fairly high speed.

The driver of the first vehicle was identified by FHP only as a Spring Hill man, aged 90. The vehicle he was driving had another two occupants in it. The passengers were identified by FHP as a 95-year-old woman and another 82-year-old woman. The first woman was sitting in the front seat while the second woman was seated in the rear seat.

The sheer impact of the collision caused significant damage to the first vehicle. All three occupants of the vehicle sustained critical injuries. The 95-year-old woman sitting in the front seat succumbed to her injuries. Once the first responders and paramedics reached the scene of the crash, she was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver and the rear-seat passenger were rushed to the hospital by the paramedics. However, attempts to revive them failed and both of them were pronounced dead a while later at the hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle was identified as a 21-year-old individual. This vehicle had no passengers in it. The driver remained largely safe from any notable injuries. FHP continues to investigate the Pasco County crash.
